Flagging Certification - SESSION 1
A representative from UDOT, Utah LTAP and the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) will be teaching the course. This seminar will educate attendees in National and State of Utah traffic safety standards. Upon completion, attendees will receive National ATSSA Flagger Certification, valid nationally for three years. In addition, attendees will receive Certification from Utah LTAP and the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) valid in Utah for three years. 4-hour instruction, books, materials, and dual certification cards for ATSSA and UDOT included.

Solar Photovoltaic - 101
This course will provide an overview of the three basic solar power system applications, primarily focused on grid direct systems. Through classroom instruction and hands on labs the course will provide the knowledge to know the features and applications of the 4 different systems, as well as identify points in curves, learn series and parallel circuits, shading, site analysis, mounting of cells, inverters, sizing, grounding, wiring, over current devices, and commissioning the project. 30-hour class
Prerequisite: (EPAE) Electrical Principals for Alternative Energy class required
