Pharmacy Technician

Objective:

Certified Pharmacy Technicians play an integral role in supporting Pharmacists in all settings, including community pharmacy, hospitals and health-systems, and long-term care pharmacy. Today's medication-use systems rely heavily on pharmacy technicians. They are an integral member of the health care team and enable the pharmacists to provide patient-centered care where they have the authority and autonomy to manage medication therapy while working cooperatively with practitioners of other health disciplines to care for patients.
